Medium Density Fibreboard

MDF is a popular and versatile material notable for its consistency in strength and size. A truly multi-purpose product, it stays beautifully flat and can be machined, cut, sawn, drilled and screwed without any risk of splitting. We offer a grooved product which is perfect for creating a panelled effect on walls without the associated problems of warpage or shrinkage, and Ultralight MDF is particularly useful in shop fitting, exhibition stands or anywhere where weight is a factor as it is up to 30% lighter than standard MDF.

Medite Premier MDF is produced using superior wood refining technology and specially designed resins. Excellent face properties mak it suitable for the thinnest laminates and surface coatings. End-users enjoy consistency of quality and thickness, as well as reduced toolwear. Its weight advantages open up new design possibilities in many applications.

Medite MR is a moisture resistant MDF panel designed for use in humid conditions in accordance with MDF.H1 as defined in EN 622 part 5 so is ideal for applications such as kitchen and bathroom furniture, window and skirting boards and architectural mouldings.

Medite FR (Flame Retardant) Euro Class B & C is an MDF panel developed specifically for use in situations where a Euro Class B or a Euro Class C flame retardant board is required under building regulations.

Medite Exterior is an MDF panel developed specifically for use in a wide range of external applications in accordance with MDF-H2 as defined in EN 622 part 5 and gives all the design freedom of Standard MDF.

MDF contains Urea Formaldehyde so care should be taken when machining.
