Job Description

Base: Newland Road, Worthing

Reports to: The Directors

The Worktop Salesperson will be expected to behave in a courteous, helpful and considerate manner to all customers and to carry out the following duties:-

• To quickly and efficiently serve customers by advising on products and taking orders.
• Using initiative to generate increased sales.
• Produce all relevant documents to complete a sale.
• Receive delivery of customers orders for collection – will involve physically unloading doors and worktops.
• Ensuring that the showroom is kept in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• Maintaining the displays in a presentable manner and keeping them updated.

Uniform

We will issue you with company t-shirts, polo shirts and sweat shirts

Should the occasion arise you will be expected to carry out any other duties reasonably requested of you that you are trained for or capable of doing. You may also occasionally be required to work in either other departments or at a different branch.

Person Specification

The person we are looking for to fill the above position must meet the following:-

Requirements

• Must be numerically literate
• Must have computer skills and experience
• Good communicator
• Must have a polite and helpful manner when serving customers
• The physical ability to assist with loading/unloading vehicles

Advantages

• Driving licence
• Experience in sales
• Experience with worktops and possibly doors.
• Full product and systems training will be given to successful applicant.
